Ellie has been Nottingham Forest's Her Game Too ambassador for over 2 years. In her time in this position, she has learned so much about the footballing world, the good and the bad, and joined a community of like-minded women trailblazing the way for women in football. Here, she is on a fan's panel Q&A session discussing how impactful being a part of such a supportive community has been on her life and career which is ultimately what encouraged her to start Garibaldi Girls.

Garibaldi Girls was inspired by the Fulham Lilies after they spoke on a Q&A panel at an EFL conference with Her Game Too in 2023. Since then, Garibaldi Girls has flourished with the help of Her Game Too, Fulham Lilies, On And Off Creative, Nottingham Forest Supporter’s Trust, FANPARK, Proud Forest, Punjabi Forest, The FSA, and even Nottingham Forest themselves. Together, we can create an environment that is welcoming for everyone. Because football truly is Her Game Too.
